Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training
Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism at both Tier 1 and Tier 2.
Since 2024, I have been delivering the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism at both Tier 1 and Tier 2. I’ve worked nationally across a wide range of venues, with diverse groups of delegates, and alongside many different trainers and co-trainers. Claire Murphy is a qualified and experienced in every delivery role: ✨Tier 2 Training Facilitator ✨Tier 2 Expert Co-trainer (lived experience of autism) ✨Tier 1 Training Facilitator ✨Tier 1 Expert Co-trainer ✨Tier 1 Lead Trainer She consistently receive positive feedback from participants and co-facilitators, recognising my ability to manage the flow of sessions, engage audiences, and ensure learning outcomes are achieved. What makes my work unique is my experience as both a facilitator and Expert co-trainer with lived experience of autism. This allows her to bring authenticity and insight to each session, while also drawing on what I’ve learned from working with a wide variety of facilitators and training styles. This role has given her the privilege of working with autistic people and people with a learning disability from many different backgrounds. She adapts her delivery to make every session inclusive, accessible, and impactful.

AuDHD & Mental Health Training
Most services have good intentions but inconsistent understanding — some staff get it, others don't, and neurodivergent people experience that inconsistency from their very first phone call or referral.
This training brings everyone in your service — clinical and non-clinical — to the same baseline of knowledge and understanding. Rather than creating a specific pathway for a select few, the goal is a service that is more inclusive by default, for everyone who comes through the door.

Designing Workplaces Where Difference Doesn't Require People to Hide
Most organisations have neurodivergent employees who are masking every single day — hiding who they are just to get through the working week. It's exhausting for individuals and costly for organisations, showing up as burnout, turnover, and disengagement.
This half-day workshop gives leadership and management teams a real understanding of what masking is, why it happens, and — crucially — what they can do differently. It's not a tick-box awareness session. It's practical, honest, and grounded in lived experience.

Neurodiversity Training
Our neurodiversity training takes a lived-experience-led approach that brings together the full spectrum of neurodivergence and learning disability in one powerful, practical session.
Instead of booking multiple separate courses on ADHD, autism, dyslexia, Irlen Syndrome, or learning disability, we offer a cohesive training that’s rooted in real-world inclusion, accessibility, and understanding.
