Neurodiversity Training
Who This Is For
This training is for;
- Teams in health, social care, education, public services, and beyond.
- This neurodiversity training takes a lived-experience-led approach that brings together the full spectrum of neurodivergence and learning disability in one powerful, practical session.
- Instead of booking multiple separate courses on ADHD, autism, dyslexia, Irlen Syndrome, or learning disability, we offer a cohesive training that’s rooted in real-world inclusion, accessibility, and understanding.
Topics Covered
This half day training covers;
- Understand — strengths and challenges across the neurodivergent spectrum and create inclusive systems and environments for diverse needs
- Recognise - and improve communication, accessibility, and engagement. Build confidence supporting neurodivergent staff and service users
- Apply — delegates leave with a clear action plan, practical frameworks, and the confidence to have better conversations with neurodivergent employees.
- Reflect — on your own role in providing neuro-affirming support as a team leader and manager.
The Format
This training is delivered as;
- Half-Day Training | Available in-person or online | Tailored to your organisation
- Case studies — real scenarios drawn from your team's own survey data (anonymised), worked through in breakout groups and fed back to the wider group, including some deliberately tricky examples to stretch thinking
- Q&A — 15 minutes of open questions at the end

AuDHD & Mental Health Training
Most services have good intentions but inconsistent understanding — some staff get it, others don't, and neurodivergent people experience that inconsistency from their very first phone call or referral.
This training brings everyone in your service — clinical and non-clinical — to the same baseline of knowledge and understanding. Rather than creating a specific pathway for a select few, the goal is a service that is more inclusive by default, for everyone who comes through the door.

Understanding ADHD in the Workplace
People with ADHD are often misunderstood at exactly the moments they need support the most — during job searches, interviews, onboarding, and the early weeks in a new role. This training gives staff a genuine, practical understanding of ADHD in an employment context, so support feels informed rather than generic.
This session has previously been delivered to Connect to Work, Leicestershire's free Supported Employment programme delivered by Leicestershire County Council, supporting disabled people and those with health conditions into sustainable employment.
