1:1 ADHD & Autism Coaching for Adults
Navigating life as a neurodivergent adult is rarely just about strategies. It is about understanding who you are, why the world often feels harder than it should, and what happens when the right support meets the right environment.
My coaching is grounded in Dr Luke Beardon's Golden Equation: Neurotype + Environment = Outcome. The environment around you β how people communicate with you, how workplaces are structured, the processes and systems you navigate every day β shapes your experience just as much as your neurotype does. Often it is the environment that is disabling, not you.
We can explore areas such as:
Emotional regulation and executive function, energy management, burnout and boundaries, creating routines and systems that actually stick, communication, self-advocacy and identity, unlearning internalised ableism and shame, understanding how your environment may be adding to your difficulties, finding purpose and the right conditions for you to thrive at work, and support and management of co-occurring neurodivergences and health conditions.
Access to Work:
**This coaching may be fully funded through Access to Work. If you're in paid employment (including self-employment) and have ADHD, autism, or another neurodivergence that affects your work, you may be eligible for a government Access to Work grant that covers the full cost of coaching. I can support you in understanding how to use your funding. **
Pricing:
Single Session (50 mins): from Β£70. Sessions are available online or in person in Leicester or Doncaster. Prices include resources and follow-up notes. Sliding-scale spaces available for those on lower incomes β just ask.
Coping strategy training
Coping strategy training is a structured, practical programme focused on building specific tools and techniques to manage the day-to-day challenges of being neurodivergent in the workplace. It differs from coaching in that it is more skills-focused β we work through concrete strategies together that you can start using straight away. This is commonly funded through Access to Work, and can be delivered as a standalone programme or alongside your wider support package.
What we cover:
Managing sensory overwhelm and overstimulation at work, time-blindness and deadline management, switching between tasks and managing transitions, communication strategies for meetings and emails, recognising and managing burnout before it hits, building routines and systems that actually stick for your brain, and identifying where your environment may be adding unnecessary pressure so you can begin to address it.
Who is it for:
Coping strategy training works well if you have been awarded Access to Work funding and want practical, targeted support β or if you know what you are struggling with and want concrete tools to implement straight away. It is also a good fit if you are finding that masking or workplace stress is taking a toll and you want strategies to reduce that load.
Format:
Sessions are 50 minutes, available online or in person in Leicester or Doncaster. Programmes are tailored to your specific needs and workplace context.
Realise Your Full Potential
Understanding Your Whole Picture
Your neurodivergence does not exist in isolation. Years of masking, micro-traumas, and mental health difficulties are often tangled up with it. We untangle them together β without judgement and without trying to fix who you are.
Strategies That Actually Fit Your Brain
Not every strategy works for every brain. We look at what you have already tried, why it may not have worked, and build approaches that are genuinely tailored to how your neurotype shows up for you.
Finding Your Purpose at Work
For ADHDers especially, purpose changes everything. When you find work you are genuinely engaged by, hyperfocus becomes an asset rather than a liability. My specialism is the workplace β helping you find the environment and the role where you naturally thrive.
Coaching That Sees the Whole Person
I work with neurodivergent adults who are navigating a world that was not designed for their brain. My coaching is neuro-affirming, honest, and grounded in both professional expertise and lived experience of autism, ADHD, dyslexia and Irlen syndrome.
Neurodivergence is a difference β not a deficit and not simply a list of strengths. It becomes a deficit when it is unmanaged, when environments are disabling, and when mental health difficulties arise as a result. My role is to help you understand the full picture and build from there.
I also believe in being honest about the limits of coaching. Where neuro-affirming therapy would serve you better or alongside coaching, I will say so and help you find it.
A note on media and self-understandingΒ
Characters like Sheldon Cooper and The Good Doctor shape how the world sees autism β and how many autistic people come to see themselves. Part of our work together is unpicking those narratives and finding out what neurodivergence actually looks like for you, not on screen.
Trusted by Organisations Across the UK
We work with organisations across the UK to build neuro-affirming cultures β from frontline health and social care teams to leadership. We're proud to have worked with the NHS, Leicester City Council, and Leicestershire County Council, and we'd love to support your organisation too.

What actually happens on the free video intro video call?
It's a relaxed 20 minute video call β no pressure, no commitment, and nothing you need to prepare. It's just a chance for us to have a chat, for you to ask any questions, and for both of us to get a feel for whether coaching might be a good fit. If it's not the right time or the right thing for you, that's completely fine.
Do I have to have a diagnosis to access coaching?
Not at all. Many of the people I work with are self-identified, awaiting assessment, or simply know that their brain works differently. You don't need a piece of paper to deserve support.
I'm not sure coaching is for me β how will I know if it's the right thing?
That's exactly what the free intro call is for. There's no obligation to commit to anything on that call β it's just a conversation. If coaching isn't the right fit, I'll always try to point you in a direction that might help more.
What if I get anxious on video calls?
Completely understandable β and really common. You're welcome to have your camera off, use the chat function, or let me know beforehand if there's anything that would make it easier. There's no right way to show up.
How is coaching different from therapy?
Coaching is forward-focused β we work on where you want to get to and what's getting in the way right now. It's practical, collaborative, and led by you. It's not a clinical service and I'm not a therapist, but for many neurodivergent adults it's a really useful complement to other support.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Life happens β especially when you're managing a brain that doesn't always cooperate with plans. I have a flexible cancellation policy and will always try to find a time that works for you.
Is everything I share confidential?
Yes. Everything discussed in our sessions stays between us. The only exceptions are standard safeguarding situations, which I'd always discuss with you openly.
I'm worried about the cost β is there any flexibility?
Yes β I offer sliding scale spaces for those on lower incomes. Just ask. I'd rather find a way to make it work than have cost be a barrier to getting support.
